RIIAAA NEWSLETTER
Rhode Island Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association
OCTOBER 2026
HOPE — Helping Other People Everyday
FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear RIIAAA Members,
As we move through October, the fall athletic season is beginning to wind down, and our attention is turning toward the winter sports
season. I want to thank our athletic directors, coaches, officials, school administrators, and support staff for the time, energy, and
dedication they continue to give to education-based athletics throughout Rhode Island.
October is an important time for athletic administrators. We are managing fall postseason schedules, preparing facilities, coordinating
winter schedules, and ensuring that our student-athletes have the resources and support they need to succeed.
As we prepare for the next season, I encourage everyone to continue sharing ideas, communicating with colleagues, and working together
to address the challenges facing our profession. RIIAAA is strongest when we learn from one another and remain committed to providing
positive experiences for our student-athletes.
Thank you for your continued support of our association and the important work you do every day.
Moving Forward Together,
Justin Erickson
President
